Future Stars is the moment before the moment, when the community is first to spot the next generation forming. At EA SPORTS FC, we’re building a platform that pulls football’s hidden gems into the spotlight and turns early belief into global recognition.

Creative Direction / Design System / Typography

Future Stars is grounded and human, but always pointed toward the future, capturing the split second when a young baller shifts from “one to watch” to “we called it.”

We built the typography system using FC’s official fonts in all caps: Cruyff Sans Medium for headlines and Cruyff Mono Regular for micro text. Mixed alignment across layouts creates dedicated space for the FC and partner logo lockups.

LAYOUT

We included wireframes in the toolkit to demonstrate correct use of branding elements, provide layout guidance, and spark inspiration.

COLOR
PALETTE

We built the palette from Future Stars’ core violets and purples, balanced with neutral shades to create a platform for multi-color CG to shine, with iridescent, metallic finishes.

GRAPHIC ELEMENTS

As these young players are still shaping their careers, leveling up their game and influence, the metaphoric abstract graphic package represents their growth, rawness, and the unknown future ahead.

It adds depth, energy, and flow by blending nets and stars with game-rooted forms, abstract shooting silhouettes, pitch graphics, and ball paths, creating a cohesive system where every element connects back to football.

GRAPHIC ANIMATION

The animated graphic set is built in two layers, an inner gold core and an outer iridescent sheen, symbolizing the young players’ value within and the shine they’re starting to show to the world.

MEDIA DUMP

A Future Stars media dump template, a flexible platform for regions to mix lifestyle content, in-game screenshots, photography, and clips into a looping animation.
